Team News – Liverpool
While Adrian is a more than capable deputy of Alisson, it will be the latter who would remain the first choice between the sticks.
Liverpool possesses the best full-back pairing in the league; Trent Alexander-Arnold (PFA Young Player of the Year 2019/20) and Andy Robertson ( provided an assist against Leeds in the 4-3 win).
The Dutch rock van Dijk would be coupled with the England international Joe Gomez to complete a solid back 4.
The midfield of the Reds would consist of skipper Jordan Henderson alongwith Naby Keita ( lots of things are expected from him ) and Georginio Wijnaldum, who scored twice against Barcelona in the Champions League.
There is little doubt as to who would start in the front 3. The trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah is one of the most dangerous trios in the Premier League.
Xherdan Shaqiri (muscle), Kostas Tsimikas (self-isolation), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee).
Team News – Chelsea
Frank Lampard and Petr Cech have instilled their trust in Chelsea #1 Kepa Arrizabalaga and he is likely to start against the Reds.
Reece James scored a rocket against Brighton and would find himself at the right position with Marcos Alonso on the left to provide an attacking threat.
Kurt Zouma and Cesar Azpilicueta could be the first choice centre back pairing.
Skipper Azpilicueta at the centre back position would be a good selection as Reece James impressed on the right-back position.
A midfield pivot of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho will provide an ample synergy of defensive strength and attacking finesse.
Kai Havertz could find himself in his preferred #10 role after Ruben Loftus-Cheek failed to impress against the Seagulls in the first game week.
Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount could start at either flank due to the absence of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.
Timo Werner won a penalty and would start as the lone striker completing the lineup.
Ben Chilwell (ankle), Christian Pulisic (hamstring), Hakim Ziyech (knee), Thiago Silva (lack of match fitness).
Chelsea VS Liverpool – Our Predictions For The Fixture
Chelsea 2 – 2 Liverpool
The match is going to be full of drama and excitement with neither of sides deserving to lose after putting on robust performances.
We expect Sadio Mane and Kai Havertz to get on the score sheet and begin their tally for the 2020/21 Premier League season.
Also, Trent Alexander-Arnold to provide an assist or score a goal to compensate for his below-par performance against Leeds. We suggest you to not miss this match at any cost!
