He has not allowed a single goal thirteen times which is nearly once in three games. Its fantastic and he has helped a lot in Wolves securing the 7th position which is same as the last season. Wolves is also playing in Europa League and has good progress in it making into round of 16.

5. David De Gea (Man Utd) – Top Six Shot Stoppers of the Season 19-20

Once the best-acclaimed goalkeeper is now at his maturity stage and at the edge of a fall. Anything cant stay at the top every seasons. Hence, David De Gea the guardian angel of Man Utd ranks fifth this season.

He has 13 clean sheets this season but a margin of 2.5 saves per game. This is low to his standards. De Gea couldn’t perform well in the start of the season but managed to deliver in the last few games.

The main drawback is three errors that he has committed which led to goals. The highly paid player in EPL shouldn’t have let that happen. Unfortunately, He also hasn’t saved a penalty out of the three. Anyways he has got his best after criticism and showing his class in recent games.

He is one of the new ones to emerge to show his talent this season. Even though he is a player on loan at Sheffield United, he used this opportunity to impress the Man Utd boss. He has 13 clean sheets this season and has conceded only 33 goals this season.

Sheffield has conceded only 39 goals this season which is just 6 less of Liverpool. The fourth club to concede less this season. The fact is that Sheffield has scored just 39 goals which has secured ninth position this season. Hence, Henderson has helped the club to improvise by building good defence.

Currently, he is back to Man Utd and promoted to the first team from Under 23 Category. It’s evident that Man Utd has two good goalkeepers now, but there is only one position to fill. What will be preferred, the experienced or the young blood? Comment your answers!

He hasn’t had enough work to do this season keeping an average of 2 saves per game. He has one error which led to a goal to his name and the disciplinary record of one red card too. Still, he has helped Liverpool to Premier League Victory.

2. Ederson (Man City) – Top Six Shot Stoppers of the Season 19-20

The Man City Goalkeeper who won the Golden Gloves of the season has a remarkable stats. He has 16 clean sheets in 35 matches which is around 45 percentage only 5 short of 50. This means Ederson keeps one clean sheet in one match. Who wouldn’t prefer this type of goalkeeper.

Everything is right but why he is in second position? Answering this is the work done by him. He has an average of 1.9 saves per game. Hence, he doesn’t have much to do in the games. Additionally, he has made three errors this season which led to goal. Thus, these two things has taken away the first position away from him.

1. Nick Pope(Burnley) – Top Six Shot Stoppers of the Season 19-20

He is the man who is in absolute form and incredibly performed very well in crucial games. His incredible 3.2 saves per game cannot be promised by every goal keepers. Although he conceded more goals than the other goal keepers, still he managed to put up with 15 clean sheets.

The main advantage with him is the high claims and crucial run outs. Its simply essential for a shot stopper where it clears the danger. Moreover his contribution to the club is good as a player by improving the ranks. Hence, his club finished in the 10th position which was fighting relegation last season.

He has increased his transfer value by receiving interest from many clubs. Chelsea is one of the favorites among the clubs.
